Who works where, under what conditions, and who decides? Starting from these questions, Alina Lupu and Liza Prins, together with Rosa Stourac McCreery and Laura Dubourjal, spent their residency at Nesse exploring the infrastructures that shape artistic labour and itinerant work: from housing and transport to contracts, networks, and the collective work of care and organising that so often remains invisible.

Itinerant Workers Party marks the end of this residency trajectory and, at the same time, the opening of p.s. Nesse, Nesse's new project space in the city centre of Terneuzen. For the occasion, the space has been transformed by artist collective 019 from Ghent, whose scenographic intervention creates a setting where research, encounter and celebration meet.

The project brings together people who relate to these questions from different positions: itinerant workers themselves, local residents, organisations, employers, and people working within the municipality and region. As both a party and a gathering, with speeches, food, drinks, music and conversation, it makes the outcomes of the research collectively shareable and asks what it takes to make itinerant work visible, liveable and shared.
